School Reports
Minarets Unified School District serves the North Fork and O'Neals communities with two elementary schools. While the new high school is being built, freshmen students are located at the Spring Valley campus. The new high school is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2009. In the meanwhile, students are bused to either Sierra or Yosemite High Schools.
Bass Lake Unified School District serves the Bass Lake, Oakhurst, Coarsegold, Ahwahnee, Fish Camp and Wawona communites with six elementary, one middle school, and one high school (Yosemite H.S.)
The community of Raymond is served by Raymaond Granite Union High School and Raymond-Knowles Elementary School.
All of Eastern Madera County is in the Central California Community College District. This district includes Kings River and Fresno Community Colleges. Kings River College has satelite campuses in Madera and Oakhurst.
Regular school bus service is provided for K through 12 grades. Some limited transportation is available to Fresno and Kings River Colleges.
